Who's building this
I'm a fourth-year software engineering student at UQ — I build websites and digital tools for small businesses on the side. I got into this through the kitchen — I spent four years working as a chef in Brisbane and Queenstown, and I kept seeing the same problem: good operators running on spreadsheets and guesswork.
The kitchen background isn't a past life — it's why I build things the way I do. I care about what actually works in practice, not just what looks good in a demo. Current clients include a Brisbane pizzeria (operational dashboard, in production) and several trade and hospitality businesses across SEQ.
